One of Buffalo's Original 1864 Tift Row Houses
Gabriel's Gate is situated in one of the original Tift Row Homes, constructed in 1864 in Allentown. With its distinctive brick facade, Victorian-era architecture and interconnected structure, it represents an important piece of Buffalo's diverse architectural heritage.
Stepping inside, guests are greeted by a beautiful stained-glass entryway, a historic carved wooden statue, and a harmonious blend of brick, stone and hardwood. The warm, inviting ambiance — complete with vintage taxidermy, Buffalo sports memorabilia and local history — creates the perfect setting for a pint and a meal, year round.

Gabriel's Gate opens as a neighborhood tavern at 145 Allen Street, quickly becoming a local institution in the Allentown community.

Our bar is legendary in Western New York — lined with hundreds of spirits, crowned with a mounted bison head, and adorned with decades of Bills, Sabres, and Mets memorabilia.
